Lady Baltimore Icing
Creamy icing which is ideal for using on a Lady Baltimore Cake.
Yield
2 cups
Ingredients
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg white
3 tablespoons cold water
Directions
Combine sugar, vanilla, egg white and cold water in a double boiler. Beat on medium to high speed over hot water for about 4 minutes or until creamy using an electric mixer.
Additional Information
Chill icing for a few minutes before decorating. Iced cake must be refrigerated until serving time. Use to ice a Lady Baltimore Cake. Also, use with Lady Baltimore Filling.
