Apple Filling
Ingredients
3 large tart raw apples, grated
juice of 1 lemon
dash of salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
Directions
Peel and core apples. Place apples in food processor on "grate" speed. Mix all ingredients well along with the grated apples. Cook in a double boiler until thick. Cool to room temperature.
