The Suwanee Steamboat is just like the Suwanee paddle steamboat that Thomas Edison
enjoyed in the 1920’s during his winters in Florida.
The Greenfield Village Suwanne Steamboat was built in 1988 and uses the same engines
Henry Ford salvaged from the original Suwannee in 1930. The Suwannee Steamboat sails
around the Suwannee Lagoon during the summer months.
