Burbank Garden Office

Burbank Garden Office Luther Burbank 1849-1926, a largely self-educated horticulturist, achieved fame through his ground-breaking experiments with plant breeding and was known worldwide for hundreds of patented flower, fruit, and vegetable hybrids including many popular varieties of daisies and potatoes.

This office was built in 1906 at Burbank’s experimental station in Santa Rosa, California and for 20 years it was used for record keeping. Burbank Garden Office

Luther Burbank improved and developed more than 800 varieties of various plants which included more than 200 new plant varieties during the late the 1800’s and early 1900’s at his Burbank’s experimental station.
