In the Greenfield Village Print Shop, the 1800’s and early 1900’s methods of American "job
printing" of items such as newspapers, business cards and flyers are demonstrated using hand-powered
printing presses, typesetting by hand and by machine, and using electric-powered platen presses.
The 1820 Washington Press is one of the printing presses demonstrated in the Print Shop.
