Greenfield Village is well-known for its skill crafts people. The buildings in the Craft & Trade area of the village
have crafts people glass blowing, making pottery, printing, weaving, making silk, and tinsmithing. Other buildings contain a steam-powered
machine shop, and a mechanized wood carding mill. The buildings in the Craft & Trade area of the village include:
Armington & Sims Machine Shop, Edison Illuminating Company,
Glass Shop, Hanks Silk Mill, Plymouth Carding Mill,
Pottery Shop, Print Shop, Richart Carriage Shop,
Spofford Sawmill, Stony Creek Sawmill, The Workshop,
Tinsmith Shop, Tripp Up-and-Down Sawmill, and the Weaving Shop.
